Why should you have a company’s own magazine?

Because it is a very effective and with respect to price the most advantageous way of communication with the public, with your customers and your employees. We can produce the magazine as a whole for you externally.

What are the costs for production?

One example: For a magazine of 16 pages, A4, fully coloured including complete processing and print on the art paper, the amount of copies 3,000 pcs you will pay approximately CZK 90,000.- (VAT excluded) for one issue; which corresponds to the price for 2 advertising pages in a renown periodical. The costs for production can be reduced with sales of advertising.

How to create a good magazine?

Suggest the content and style which will respond to the target group you intend to address and present them interesting and useful information. Well mastered graphic, colour scheme as well as quality photos and paper are for granted.

Readers always in focus

Your reader is your priority – always keep him in mind. To get the information about how your work is successful you need the feedback in the form of various contact columns as for instance questionnaires, competitions, readers´ letters etc.

MAIN PRINCIPLE of a company magazine

Attune the instrumentality of the magazine with the philosophy of your company – if you present yourself as a young company, write in a youthful and relaxed style. On the contrary – if your credo is certainty, tradition and solidity, also the graphic layout, type of columns and character of photos and texts should correspond.

Types of company magazines

The B2C magazine is assigned for final customers and local communities. The B2B focuses on business partners. Prints of this class usually address readers who are decision makers when their company finance is in questionzhuj. The internal magazine and internal newspapers are intended for employees and represent a source of information necessary for a quality running of a company and for strengthening of solidarity of all employees. These are in the form of a magazine or a newspaper.

Don’t you know how to start publishing of your magazine?

We will give you a brief guidance. First of all you shall set priorities and orientation of your company magazine:

Editor in chief

Delegate a responsible editor in chief from your staff – usually he is a member of the marketing department of the company, aware of what is necessary to be conveyed to business partners or employees. The editor in chief does not need to be a perfect stylist – he is responsible for the content of the magazine, he plans meetings of the editorial staff, gathers papers for the editor, authorises texts and observes the graphic layout. He takes care for periodicity of the magazine, but it is a part-time work actually.

Editorial staff

During the first meeting of the editorial staff state the content: regular columns, news, interviews, pages for advertising etc. Create a mirror of the magazine which according to the content may be variable and set deadlines and form of submitting of documents. The usual members of the editorial staff are the editor in chief, the editor and the one who co-ordinates work in our DTP studio and who will be responsible for your magazine.

Layout

We will create several graphic designs of the magazine and you are those who will choose the best one. The graphic layout is usually created for one or two volumes of the magazine and is continuously innovated so that original graphic features and idea are retained.

Editorial processing

After the meeting of the editorial staff our editor independently seeks sources, arranges interviews and prepares texts according to your requirements. The editor may of course be also an employee of your company. The texts are at first checked in our agency with regard to their factual and language correctness and then are sent back to your company for authorisation.

Then you nominate a responsible editor in chief from your team.

Editorial processing

After the meeting of the editorial staff our editor with respect to assigned requirements starts independently to seek for sources, arranges interviews and prepares texts. These are sent to the agency where the first factual and language check is made. Then they are sent to your company for authorisation.

Typesetting and print

Approved texts are together with submitted graphic copies completed and processed in our DTP studio. They go through two proof readings and after the approval of the editor in chief the magazine is printed - usually within a week.

Distribution

For the distribution a database is necessary - which we will create for you. The magazine may be sent as a business letter or as a print consignment. However for the second one the registration at the ministry of culture of the Czech Republic is necessary – we will be pleased to arrange this for you as well. The advantage of the latter is a distinctly lower postage but the content of adverts must not exceed the limit.
